The homeowner tasked SPSD with coming up with a solution for a backyard space that had large trees, plenty of shade, overgrown shrubs, and drainage issues. The home is a rental property and the backyard needed to be durable and able to withstand periods of neglect and vacancy. The large Heritage Trees needed to stay and so the decision was made to not go back in with real grass but to create an amenity space that would attract buyers. A new fence, a rectilinear putting green, and fresh landscaping helped breathe life back into the backyard space.
