Stebbins Park was originally designed by TBG Partners back in 2015 and installed the following year. Since that time, the project has seen a number of plants flourish back it’s also seen a good amount of the garden struggle for various reasons. SPSD was tasked with a landscape redesign of the garden space. The intent was to add some different colors and textures to compliment some of the more established plant material in the garden. The entry hillside also has seen some erosion over time and ongoing maintenance of the garden has been a struggle at times. Because of these issues, we recommended more moss boulders to retain and more basalt gravel in places to cut down on weeds and watering.
