The National is a historic building that has been renovated into Multi use from office, hotel, and condos. Located in downtown Dallas and standing 51 stories tall the 360 views of the city are amazing. SPSD was proud to work with Andres and SWA on the level 9 and Club level 9 floors. The scope included a fenced in dog park, artificial turf, pedestal paving, Ipe paving and planting on level 9. The Catbird is a restaurant & bar located on level 9 club and consists of tile paving and artificial turf set on top of the deck in a grid pattern. One of the challenging parts of this project was hoisting all the material needed to the 9th floor by crane while coordinating with the Dallas traffic flow at ground level.
